General Session Speakers
Mark Scharenbroich is a native Minnesotan who has spoken to more than 3,500 audiences, earned an Emmy award, and been inducted into the National Speakers Association’s prestigious Hall of Fame. Simply put, Mark Scharenbroich has been one of the top educational and corporate speakers in America for over 20 years. His upbeat message is about making connections that move people, and about the importance of getting involved in school, and life. We thank Jostens representatives in Oregon for helping to sponsor this outstanding speaker.
Scott Greenberg had always dreamed of becoming a famous filmmaker. When he received a scholarship to NYU Film School, it seemed his dream would come true. However, after attending film school for only 1 semester, something happened to Scott to change his life forever. Today he travels around the U.S. conducting leadership training programs and sharing his remarkable story. He has written 3 books on leadership, and resides in Los Angeles.
Important Information
Capacity at the Seaside Convention Center is 1,500, so we must limit our enrollment. Therefore, all schools must adhere to these guidelines:
Schools are limited to 15 participants total! THIS INCLUDES ADVISORS.
Registration deadline is Friday, October 23. After that date, advisors must call our office at 503-480-7206 to see if space is available. There is a chance we could reach capacity before the deadline, so don't delay! We recommend you reserve space first, then follow-up with payment or give a purchase order number and we will bill your school. NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION!
What to Bring
ADVISORS, you must turn these items in at registration:
Completed School Contact Information Form (list of student names and emergency numbers, and place where you are staying)
Signed Participant Commitment Form for each student
STUDENTS:
A Spirit Banner from your school to hang in the convention center
Money if you wish to buy an OASC t-shirt or sweatshirt
Luncheon
Since we are inducting our new state officers at our luncheon, we would like it to be special. We hope you'll stay for the luncheon, and if you do, we ask that you please plan to stay for the duration (until approx. 1:30pm) so we don't have the interruption of people leaving in the middle of the program. Please indicate on the registration form whether or not you'll be staying, and also your menu choice numbers so we can accommodate any vegetarians.
